Reid J. Perkins
Reid Perkins joined the firm as an intern during law school in the summer of 2000. He graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2002 with honors. Prior to law school Reid graduated with a B.A. in Psychology (1997, honors) a B.A. in Political Science (1998, honors) and a minor in Asian Studies (1998) from the University of Montana. After passing the Montana Bar Exam, he began working for Worden Thane as an associate in 2002. In 2010 Reid became a partner at the firm.
Reid is a native of Montana. Prior to practicing law, Reid worked in a number of jobs ranging from youth counseling to manual labor in the construction industry. Reid has also owned a small business. Currently Reid handles a wide variety of commercial litigation matters including property transactions, construction disputes, easement disputes, business torts, intellectual property disputes, labor and employment issues, commercial code issues, banking litigation, and breach of contract actions. He also practices in the areas of arbitration, collections, consumer protection, insurance and insurance defense, mediation, personal injury, and products liability.
Reid has successfully represented a diverse range of clients in all stages of litigation from trials to appeals, including jury trials. As a former small business owner, Reid appreciates the needs of business clients. Reid is dedicated to all of his clients, however, regardless of whether the client is an individual or business.
Reid enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their family and friends. Reid is an advanced, certified scuba diver and enjoys traveling to areas outside of Montana to dive.
