Pat Dougherty joined the firm in 1986. Born in Great Falls, Montana, he graduated from Montana State University (B.S., 1973) and The University of Montana (B.S., 1977; J.D., with honors, 1986). He practiced as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Montana prior to joining the firm. Pat's practice emphasizes real estate, taxation, probate and trusts, estate planning, and commercial and business transactions.
Pat has obtained the prestigious AV Peer Review rating in Martindale-Hubbell. Pat is a frequent lecturer and has served on a number of bar-related commissions and committees, most recently a committee to revise the Uniform Trust Code in Montana.
